The Lincoln Lawyer: Looking At Female Characters From The Show

Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer created by David E. Kelly is a legal television drama series, which has returned for season 2. Adapted from the novels written by Michael Connelly, the series has gained much attention globally.

The first season of the series is based on The Brass Verdict by Connelly, which is a sequel to his novel The Lincoln Lawyer. While Manuel Garcia- Rulfo plays the lead protagonist as a defence attorney in Los Angeles, many female actors play the lead and supporting roles in the thrilling legal drama series.

Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson

Neve Campbell fills in the cast of The Lincoln Lawyer as Maggie McPherson. Neve Campbell plays the character who is called Maggie Mags in the Netflix adaption by Mickey Haller, who plays the protagonist as she is also his first ex-wife and also have a daughter together. Maggie gains the moniker Maggie McFierce title due to her reputation as a tough prosecutor.

Beckie Newton as Lorna Crane

Becki Newton has been cast in the role of Lorna Crane. Beckie, as Lorna, plays Mickey's trusty second ex-wife, whom he swiftly marries after divorcing Maggie. She also expertly manages his cases and phone calls as he travels the streets and courts. The first season of the series gives Crane more screen time and a bigger recognition while maintaining a largely faithful portrayal of the character. 

Jazz Raycole as Izzy Letts

Izzy Letts is a new character created for a rendition of The Lincoln Lawyer, and Jazz Raycole portrays her. Izzy Letts is a defendant whose case Mickey successfully opposes, and she compensates him by serving as his driver. The two support one another in avoiding relapse because they are both recovering addicts—Izzy steps in for Patrick Henson to play a gay lady of colour instead of a professional surfer.

Krista Warner as Hayley Haller

Krista Warner, a relative newcomer, takes the front stage as Hayley Haller, Mickey and Maggie's daughter! While Hayley does not play a significant role in the show's legal plotlines, she is the one for whom Mickey sacrifices everything to provide her with the greatest life possible and to be the best father he can be.

Lana Parrilla As Lisa Trammell

Lana Parrilla appears in Season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer as Lisa Trammel and as a new character. She plays a restaurant owner who is accused of murdering a high-profile businessman in Los Angeles. Mickey's friendship with Lisa, as well as her financial circumstances, significantly complicate the case.
