Kohrra Trailer Released :

The two-minute-long trailer follows an investigation into the death of an NRI. The trailer starts with a young boy and girl finding a dead body lying in a field in Jagrana, Punjab. A major chunk of it involved police and their theories regarding the murder. It also implies the thriller is full of secrets kept among the family and friends of the deceased person. The trailer tells that love blurs the line between right and wrong, probably, also the reason behind the thriller being titled 'Kohrra'.

Plot:

The plot in the trailer hints that just before the wedding, the NRI groom is murdered, and another person is missing. While investigating the case, the police come across hidden secrets, a world of deceit with the dramas of dysfunctional families. We see an investigation led by a twisted cop named Dhillon (played by Suvinder Vicky) for whom violence is not a big deal.

Star Cast:

Randeep Jha has directed the series. Sudip Sharma co-created the series with writers Gunjit Chopra and Diggi Sisodia. The series has a star cast from regional Punjabi talent to Hollywood actors. The series stars Suvinder Vicky, Barun Sobti, Harleen Sethi, Manish Chaudhari, Varun Badola, Rachel Shelley, and more. Rachel Shelley is a surprise element, as she return to Indian cinema after 22 years, she was seen last in Lagaan as Elizabeth Russell. Sudip Sharma in an interview with Indian Express opened up on the casting of Shelley. He said that casting Rachel came from a bit of practicality as he knew he wanted an actor from the UK for the part and did not want to hire a ‘white actor working in Mumbai’.
