Roshan captioned the pictures with the hashtags "prayer is powerful" and the "universe is powerful." Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14. He was 34. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is probing the death alongside the Enforcement Directorate (ED), and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Earlier, in a different Instagram post, she had shared: ‘The moment we’ve waited for, has finally arrived’, referring to the central government’s decision order a CBI inquiry in the case.

On June 14, Hrithik had taken to his Twitter account to condole Sushant's death, "Deeply saddened and shocked to hear about Sushant. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. He had so much life in him. Extremely disheartening news."

Rajput’s father Krishna Kumar Singh and his family had accused the actor's former girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family for abetment to suicide. Based on his complaint the Patna Police registered an FIR on July 25. Chakraborty, however, claimed that she was innocent and had nothing to do with the late actor’s death. She had filed a different petition with the Supreme Court, seeking the transfer of the FIR to Mumbai from Patna, alleging that she has been falsely implicated in the case. A parallel investigation is also being carried out by the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau. She was arrested by the NCB on a drug-related charge on September 9 and was released on October 7 after 28 days in jail.
