She added that the eatery that prepared the pizza on an active volcano was called "Pizza Pacaya". The last significant eruption on the volcano was in 2021. Blodgett further explained that it would get windy and cold up there and asked people to ensure they brought layers.

The video shows a person putting an uncooked pizza into the ground of an active volcano and covering it. A few minutes later, they take it out, and we see a cooked pizza. They serve it to Blodgett, and the rest of the video shows her happily enjoying the pizza cooked uniquely.

San Vicente Pacaya is a town in Guatemala that is the only place that serves pizza cooked on an active volcano, according to reports by ABC. The eatery is called Pizza Pacaya and was started by David Garcia. He came up with the idea to start this business when he witnessed a few tourists roasting marshmallows in the volcano's caves.

Alexandra Blodgett shared the video on her Instagram page on July 2. Since then, it has amassed almost 1.3 million views and nearly 70K likes.
