If you're curled up in bed this weekend giving binge-watching a shot again, the world of OTT will not disappoint you. The remaining half of the year has some great shows and films in its bank, and if you're looking to get through this weekend with some great content, we got you covered.

Netflix is out with some most-anticipated releases, and from Kohrra to Out-Laws, there's room for every genre in the deck. Here are five films and shows you must add to your watchlist immediately.  

Netflix Releases This Weekend

Kohrra

The film shows turbulent events against the backdrop of a murder that takes place in Punjab. The story unfolds after an NRI groom is found dead a few days before his wedding ceremony. The film, which features Barun Sobti and Suvinder Vicky as police officers, showcases the dilemmas that these cops go through in their personal lives while making conscious decisions in their line of duty. The six-episode show is directed by Randeep Jha and it takes us on a journey of a differently-made thriller that has a solid cast to boast of. 

The Out-Laws

Starring Adam DeVine and Nina Dobrev in titular roles, The Out-Laws takes us through the thrilling life of a couple and their respective parents as they all navigate events that link them to a bank heist. The film also features Poorna Jagannathan, Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin, Lauren Lapkus and Richard King among others. Written by Evan Turner and Ben Zazove, the comedy is directed by Tyler Spindel.

The Smurfs

If you're looking for a light watch to stay away from anticipating much, The Smurfs is the show for you. Watch how this group of Smurfs take on their magical adventure whilst facing their biggest rival, the wicked sorcerer Gargamel and the infamous cat Azrael. Season one of the show has fifty-two episodes to get you through this rainy weekend. 

Bird Box Barcelona

After the major success of the 2018 release Bird Box, Netflix brings to the audience Bird Box Barcelona, a similar plot in another dimension, where a mysterious force cuts through the population of the world. The plot shows how a man from Barcelona navigates his journey of survival with umpteen challenges along the way. The film stars Georgina Campbell, Mario Casas, Patrick Criado, Diego Calva, Naila Schuberth and Michelle Jenner. 

Love Tactics 2

Following its first franchise instalment Love Tactics, the film showcases the characters bridging the gap between love and marriage, and learning a thing or two about living in the gaps along the way. Starring Demet Özdemir, Şükrü Özyıldız, Melisa Döngel, Bora Akkaş and Ümit Erdim among others, this Turkish drama entails everything millennials and GenZ would love to watch.
