His lawyer, Rebecca John argued that the court hearing a domestic violence suit cannot pass orders regarding a company. She also said that the court cannot put restraint on business, as per reports. 

As per reports, Shalini Talwar has asked for a compensation of Rs 20 crore from Honey Singh under the Domestic Violence Act.

Shalini Talwar, Honey Singh’s wife, has filed a domestic violence case against him and has sought a compensation amount of Rs 20 crore.

The Punjabi rapper said that he is distressed by the “false and malicious” allegations levied against him and his family by Shalini Talwar.

Shalini in her plea claimed that once her father-in-law walked into her room in inebriated condition while she was changing her clothes and grazed his hands over her “chest”.

Shalini Talwar said that the rapper was sexually involved with various other women. Talwar claimed that during the shoot of his song Brown Rang De, the rapper was sexually involved with a female colleague

Shalini Talwar filed a case of domestic violence, sexual violence, mental harassment and financial fraud against him in Delhi’s Tis Hazari court under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. 

The orders also restrained Singh from disposing of his jointly owned property, his wife’s Stridhan etc.

Shalini Talwar has accused Honey Singh of domestic violence, sexual violence, mental harassment and financial violence.

As per ANI, the court has issued a notice to the rapper seeking his response in the case by August 28.
