Who Is Shalini Talwar? Honey Singh’s Wife Who Has Filed a Domestic Violence Case Against Him

Who Is Shalini Talwar? Bollywood singer and actor Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife has filed a case against him in Delhi’s Tis Hazari court under the ‘Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act’ on August 3.

She has accused him of domestic violence, sexual violence, mental harassment and financial violence, as per a report. Here's what you need to know about Shalini Talwar.

1. She was born on 14 August, 1987. She studied in Guru Nanak Public School in Delhi. The duo met there only and that's how their love story began. They were classmates.
2. She dated Honey Singh for two decades and then got married to him on January 23, 2011 in a traditional Sikh wedding
3. "I will always listen to her no matter what. Because I have realised that she is very important and always right about everything.", Honey Singh had said about her in an interview
4. In 2014, Honey Singh introduced his wife to the audience in an episode of reality show India's Rawstar
5. In another interview, Honey Singh confessed that she is his worst critic and is not a very big fan of his songs. Singh is not sure if she likes any of them. She is fond of romantic songs. However, she likes Brown Rang and makes her singer husband sing for him everyday.
6. When Honey Singh was in news for his health, his wife had made statements about not leaving his side.

Honey Singh is yet to make any official statements in connection with the case. As per a report by India Today, the court has also passed temporary orders in favour of Shalini Talwar. This will restrain the singer from disposing of his jointly owned property etc.
