The police have arrested hostel warden Sakayamari based on the statements of the deceased student and her father.
The 16-year-old specially-abled girl has incurred serious injuries to her internal and private organs due to the assault.
The accused also threatened the survivor with grave consequences if she spoke about the incident to anyone else.
The incident took place when the survivor was out playing near her house.
The survivors were between ages nine and 11 at the time of the assault.
In connection with the case, the police have arrested two people, including a minor and are still investigating the involvement of the third person.Â
The survivor had filed the case against the accused and his wife on December 28, Tuesday, at Songadh Police Station.
The incident took place in April when Saket, on finding the child alone, kidnapped her under the pretext of giving chocolate.
However, this was not informed to the local health officials, who alerted the police over a possible case of female infanticide and the mysterious death of the newborn girl.
