Honey Singh Accused Of Domestic Violence: Bollywood singer and actor Hirdesh Singh known as 'Yo Yo Honey Singh' was accused of domestic violence by his wife Shalini Talwar on Tuesday.
The case has been filed in Delhi's Tis Hazari Court under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. As per ANI, the court has issued a notice to the rapper seeking his response in the case by August 28.
So far, there have been no official statements released by Honey Singh in connection with the case.
As per a report by India Today, the court has also passed temporary orders in favour of Shalini Talwar, restraining Honey Singh from disposing of his jointly owned property etc.
Honey Singh And Shalini Talwar Relationship:
Yo Yo Honey Singh and his wife Shalini Talwar got married on January 23, 2011, after reportedly dating for two decades. The couple had tied the knot in a Delhi farmhouse. The information about the rapper being married was only revealed when Honey Singh introduced his wife in 2014 during a reality show Rawstar.
In the past, Honey Singh's name has also been attached to a woman named Deana Uppal. She was a contestant in a reality show named Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5. However, the rapper never released any statement in connection with the rumours.
Soon after that, the reports of Honey Singh's deteriorating health issues surfaced in the media. His wife had made statements about not leaving his side.
In a statement made during an interview, Honey Singh had said, "She is my friend and I will always listen to her no matter what because today I have realised that she is very important and always right about everything"
