Bride Calls Off Wedding: A bride in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh refused to get married to the groom after he showed up drunk at the wedding venue. The incident took place on November 7. The bride's family was all geared up to welcome the groom's side. The wedding procession arrived at the venue. Unfortunately, many guests seemed drunk. These included the groom and his friends.
According to a report, the groom was so inebriated that he couldn't even stand properly. Muskan Sheikh, the bride, was shocked seeing this. She decided to call off the wedding and didn't even sit in the nikaah. She also told her family that she could marry anyone but not this 'awaara'. The family backed their daughter and asked the groom and his family to return. They also have the full support of the police, as per a report.
It is not the first time when a bride has cancelled her wedding due to groom's misbehaviour. Some time ago, a bride from Uttar Pradesh had cancelled her wedding after the groom arrived intoxicated. Not only this, he also forced her to dance before the varmala ceremony. The bride refused to dance which irked the groom. The bride further cancelled the wedding. In another incident, a bride called off the wedding after the groom failed to pronounce Urdu words. There was another bride, Priyanka Tripathi, who refused to get married to the groom on the wedding day because the groom was doing naagin dance and it embarrassed her.
