Kangana-Shiv Sena Row

Kangana Ranaut had compared “Mumbai to PoK” earlier this month, and said she “feared Mumbai Police more than the movie mafia”. The 33-year-old actress has been criticising the Maharashtra government on Twitter since her office in Bandra was bulldozed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday. Reportedly, she was served a notice of "illegal construction" too. The actor has been given Y-plus security by the Centre.

“My office was suddenly declared illegal in last 24 hours, they have destroyed everything inside including furniture and lights and now I am getting threats they will come to my house and break it as well, I am glad my judgement of movie mafia’s favourite world’s best CM was right,” Ranaut had shared in response to the demolition. During her stay, Kangana had also met Karni Sena functionaries, as well as Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari .

Before leaving the city, the actor was said that her meeting with Maharashtra governor has given her hope, “I had a meeting with the governor. He is our guardian here and I discussed the injustice that has happened to me in the city. We talked about the incident in the brief meeting and I hope justice will be given to me so that the faith of the young women in the country can be restored in the system.”

After landing in Chandigarh, Ranaut tweeted, "It seems this time I was saved. There was a time when I felt a mother's touch in Mumbai, but today the situation is such that I am lucky to be alive. The moment Shiv Sena became Sonia Sena, the Mumbai administration became a terror."
