Hyderabad: Speeding Car Rams Into Two Women Out On Morning Walk

The Hyderabad hit-and-run case caught on CCTV camera where a speeding car rams into 3-morning walkers including a child, killing 2 on the spot.

A morning walk turned into a tragic accident for a mother and her daughter as they were fatally hit by a speeding car in Narsingi in the early hours of Tuesday.

A horrific CCTV footage surfaced online from Hyderabad, Telangana, where a speeding car hit three passersby including killing mother-daughter on the spot. 

Hyderabad Hit-And-Run Case:

In the CCTV footage, a red car is seen charging at high speed, losing its control and skidding on the road leading to ramming over a trio of morning walkers leaving a plume of dust. The accident took place on the main road coming under the area of Narsingi Police Station.

The car rammed 3 women walking on Hydershakote main road in the morning when the car hit them killing a daughter and a mother on the spot while another woman is critically injured. The deceased are identified as Anuradha (38) and Mamta (26) who are residents of Shanti Nagar Colony.

According to reports, after the accident, the driver fled the scene while a bag has been retrieved from the site of the accident which is believed to add up to the investigation of the case. 

The injured was immediately rushed to Osmania Hospital while the 2 women succumbed to the accident on the spot.

Another accident took place on Tuesday in the city when a truck turned upside down killing a person on National Highway 44 near Jadcharela town in Mehbubnagar district of Telangana. 

A similar incident of reckless driving took place in the city in May where 3 youths lost their lives while 8 were injured as a car rammed into a parked truck on the outskirts of Hyderabad near Khanapur crossroad. Injured were taken out by the police and bodies were rushed to the hospital along with the injured when they were declared dead. The car was travelling from Nizampeth to Ocean Park.

According to statistics, in India around 1.5 lakh people loses their lives to road accident and the biggest reason for the high number of road accidents in our country is 'human error.'
