A video shared on Reddit shows a video capturing a rather disturbing incident of a woman berating a group of German tourists and shouting “Get the f**k out of our country” on a New Jersey Transit train.
The woman, identified as Brianna Pinnix, 30, was dismissed from her job at Capital Rx, as a World Trade Centre-based pharmacy benefit manager.

In the video, Pinnix, who appeared to be intoxicated, is seen aggressively confronting the tourists, repeatedly demanding an explanation for their actions. Despite her boyfriend’s attempt to defuse the situation, she continued to shout. The fight escalated to physical violence as she slightly struck one of the tourists.
Her boyfriend is heard pleading with her to stop: “Brie, Brie, do not do this; do not do this; you’re going to get arrested.” She replied, “I can handle my own,” and continued to shout at the tourists. “Brie, please stop this, please. Stop this, or I’m never going to talk to you again,” warned the boyfriend, to which she replied, “I love you, but get off me.”
Pinnix’s boyfriend somehow managed to get her back to her seat and said, “You know I’m an immigrant; I’m an immigrant, too; you know that, right?” She replied, "Yeah, but I’m responsible for you, so it’s OK."
Fellow passengers on the train looked extremely shocked upon hearing this and expressed disapproval. One passenger is heard saying, “That’s harsh.”
Upon reviewing the video, Captain Rx acted swiftly and terminated Pinnix. A spokesperson for the company said that the company has a zero-tolerance policy against prejudicial or discriminatory behaviour. They added that the company acted immediately after conducting a review of the incident and terminated the employee. They also mentioned that the former employee’s actions and words were not representative of Capital Rx and offered sincere apologies to those who were hurt.
The incident garnered widespread condemnation on social media. Many netizens expressed concern for Pinnix’s boyfriend and insisted he end the relationship. The video also sparked a discussion about the significance of addressing xenophobia and promoting tolerance in society.
Pinnix’s behaviour has sparked a conversation about the need for understanding and empathy among people, even when they are frustrated. The video reminds us to combat prejudice and promote inclusivity within communities.
Pinnix was a talent acquisition specialist at Capital Rx. She is a 2015 college graduate from Marymount Manhattan College working as the World Trade Centre pharmacy benefit manager, as per her Facebook account.
Pinnix hasn’t commented on the incident yet, although requests have been made. It has left people wondering if she will issue an apology for her actions.
