Mona Patel made her second Met Gala appearance just as memorable as her debut last year. The Indian-American entrepreneur opted for a sharp, tailored suit by Thom Browne, accompanied by a robotic dog called Vector. The robotic dog was inspired by Thom Browne’s Hector Bag and was adorned with a 1000-carat diamond leash. Her black-and-white ensemble was complete with a dramatic cape, an embellished corseted bodice, a white halter-neck shirt, point-toed pumps, and a sequinned boater hat. The real showstopper was the robotic spine that adorned the back of the suit.

Patel's crisp look was a celebration of both feminine and masculine elements, a perfect ode to the Met Gala 2025 theme 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.' The dress code for the evening was 'Tailored For You'. The theme aimed to honour the culture and importance of 18th-century Black style through the concept of dandyism.
