The Kissing Booth star Joey King got married to director Steven Piet after dating for four years in a close ceremony held in the islands of Barcelona. The couple got engaged in February 2022.
The actor recently shared their pictures on Instagram. Earlier in July, she shared a fun reel of her bachelorette which was themed on her then-fiancé Steven.
Joey King Marries Boyfriend
On September 2, 2023, American actor, Joey King tied the knot with her long-time beau Steven Piet in a private ceremony in Spain's Mallorca. The couple were together for four years and began dating in September 2019. The duo kept their relationship very private unless King made it official in August 2021.
King confirmed the wedding to Vogue and in an Instagram collab post shared photos from the ceremony.
“Looking out from the altar at all of our friends and family was an unforgettable moment,” King told the publication of her The Great Gatsby-style wedding. “We truly felt so perfectly present and soaking in every detail was pure magic.”
They made their first red carpet appearance together at the premiere of the film The Bullet Train, months after getting engaged in February 2022.
A few days back, 24-year-old King shared an adorable picture series on her Instagram giving insights into their time spent together in Portugal where the couple can be seen cuddling and wholeheartedly enjoying each other's company. In July, the actor also shared a picture of her in a veil and a reel of what now seemed to be her bachelor party.
King shared the images on Instagram while her caption summarised her feelings about the wedding as she calls love "cool" and describes love to be "grand", kissing in front of Fonte dos Amores, and having a lot of caipirinhas together.
Joey King and Steve Piet Relationship:
The couple met when Piet directed 2 episodes of King's Hulu miniseries The Act. The couple then started dating, keeping it a private affair until March 2022 when King announced their engagement. Piet then proposed to King and shared the moment on Instagram.
King also celebrated Piet's 32nd birthday with a heartwarming note about how he made her feel like the luckiest girl.
