Their story started in 2013, during the IPL final between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Mumbai won the championship under Rohit Sharma’s leadership, and among the rising stars in the team was a young Jasprit Bumrah. Sanjana, working as a sports presenter, was covering the match and had the opportunity to interview several players, including Bumrah. Though it was a brief encounter, it unknowingly set the stage for their future.

Their love story took another beautiful turn on September 4, 2023, when they welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Angad, which means "warrior." Sharing the news on Instagram, Bumrah wrote, "Our little family has grown, and our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine."
