Samantha Ruth Prabhu and the makers of the film Shaakuntalam dropped the film’s official poster and its new release date today. The film was supposed to release in 2022 but in the new year, it has secured a new date for the audience who cannot wait to see Prabhu on screen in her new avatar.

The music for the film has been made by Mainsharma and the dialogues by Pulagam Chinnarayana and Dr Challa Bhagyalaxmi.

After the song was released on social media platforms, it received mixed reactions from the audience. This was the first time that actor Samantha was seen in such a bold avatar. Many praised her for trying something while others called her out and the makers of the song of being sexist

She wrote that people spread false rumours about calling an opportunist. People accused her of having affairs and that she did not want to have children which caused a rift in her marriage.
