After After Pagglait and Ludo, she will now be seen alongside Abhimanyu Dassani in this romantic-comedy Meenakshi Sundareshwar. The film is directed by Vivek Soni. He was also the director of Rajkummar Rao’s Trapped, Hasee To Phasee and Shandaar.

What is the story about?
The rom-com revolves around a newly married couple who is in a long-distance relationship. Theirs was an arranged marriage. Sundareshwar is an engineer who wants to work at an MNC whereas Meenakshi is a Rajinikanth fan who wants to work for a small company as she feels she will able to make a big difference there. The husband moves to Bangalore as he secures a job there whereas the wife stays back with her in-laws. The two stay connected via video calls and messages. Will the couple be able to tide over the problems that being in a long-distance marriage brings with it? Will the duo be able to save their marriage? Watch the movie to find out

The film is Abhimanyu Dassani’s debut in the digital space. His last acting project was Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, a parody of an Indian action movie which critiques the conventional macho action hero.
