Where to watch Helmet: Helmed by Satram Ramani, Helmet is gearing up for a release in the first week of September. The film stars Aparshakti Khurana and Pranutan Bahl in lead. It also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Sharib Hashmi, Ashish Verma, Jameel Khan, Saanand Verma, Shrikant Verma and Ranjan Raj in a key roles. The quirky comedy movie is titled Helmet as it is a common slang used for condoms in India. Helmet can be streamed from September 3 release on OTT.

The trailer of the film was released on August 20 and it is touted to be a comedy film with a relevant social message. Going by the clips, the film tells how people in small towns in India are hesitant to buy or use condoms as they consider it to be a taboo. It is majorly about contraceptive measures in India and how difficult it is for men to buy it even today. From the trailer, it seems like they have managed to highlight the issue in a hilariously entertaining manner. The screenplay and dialogues are penned by Rohan Shankar.

Khurana, who was blessed with a baby girl with his wife Aakriti Ahuja Khurana recently, spoke to TellyChakkar about his upcoming movie and said that this movie is very important to be seen with the entire family as it gives a good message to all. He went on to add that in India, we have a problem discussing condoms and we are running away from them, but it is very important to understand the relevance of it. “This is a clean movie dealing with the subject of condoms which can be seen with the entire family,” the actor, who is known for his work in films like Dangal, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Stree, Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh, said. Bahl, meanwhile, said that she agreed to be part of Helmet as it has an unconventional storyline that appealed to the performer in her. She is the daughter of actor Monish Bahl and made her silver screen debut with 2019’s film Notebook which was based on the Thai movie The Teacher’s Diary.
