Watch Aranyak Online: A cop heading for a break, a missing child and a forest full of dark secrets- these are the elements that upcoming web series Aranyak promises to play on. Backed by an impressive cast, this small-town thriller will start streaming this week.

The series had been helmed by Vinay Waikul, who co-directed Nimrat Kaur starrer The Test Case, alongside Nagesh Kukunoor. It will mark actor Raveena Tandon's debut in the OTT space, as this is the first web series that the actor has ever worked in.
Speaking about her decision to star as the show's lead Kasturi Dogra, Tandon said in a recent interview, "It was a strong female character driven show. My character is fierce, independent, passionate.. a tough and talented cop. That appealed to me." Tandon further pointed out that if one looks at the movies she has done, there has always been some messaging in them.
Apart from Tandon, the show will feature actor Parambrata Chatterjee as cop Angad Malik, who reports in Sironah to replace Dogra. The series also features Ashutosh Rana and Meghna Malik in key roles.
What is Aranyak about
Set in a sleepy, hilly town named Sironah, Aranyak revolves around cop Kasturi Dogra, who is about to hand over the charge as Station House Officer. However, her decision to proceed on leave changes when a woman from another country comes to the police station to file a missing complaint about her boyfriend and daughter. Wanting to crack this high profile case, Dogra decides to stay back, but it is Malik who will call all the shots. Can the two cops get along for the greater good? Will this case unearth numerous dark secrets of the town that have remained buried for long?
