Internet shocked as Sidharth Shukla dies from heart attack: Popular film and television actor and reality television star Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2. The actor suffered a massive heart attack on Thursday morning following which he was taken to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. The actor is survived his mother and two sisters.
"He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago," said the officials at the hospital that released a statement on Shukla's death, adding that initial reports indicate cause of death to be a heart attack. "We, however, won't be able to confirm the cause of his death until we complete the post mortem," said a doctor from the hospital's forensic department.
Shukla rose to fame after he starred in hit television serial Balika Vadhu opposite late actor Pratyusha Banerjee. He was the winner of reality television show Bigg Boss' season 13. However it was his romance with fellow contestant Shehnaaz Kaur Gill that made him a social media favourite. The two would constantly feature on social media trends long after their stint on Bigg Boss ended.
As the news of Sidharth Shukla's untimely demise broke, fans and celebrity expressed took to social media to express disbelief. Actor Manoj Bajpayee wrote in his tweet, "OMG!!! This is So Shocking!!! Words will fail to describe the shock and sense of loss of his near and dear ones !!! May he res in peace !!! Folded handsFolded hands No yaar !!!!"
Actor Renuka Shahane too took to Twitter to pay her condolence, "I cannot process that Siddharth Shukla has passed away. Life is just too unpredictable. RIP Siddharth. My condolences to his family and friends and to all his devastated fans."
"Totally Numb! This is beyond shocking! Life is so unpredictable. May his soul rest in peace," wrote television and film actor Sharad Kelkar. In her tweet, actor Rashii Khanna expressed shocked at the suddeness of Shukla's death writing, "It’s shocking to hear about the sudden demise of #SiddharthShukla Pleading face. My heart goes out to his family and his army of fans! Life is so unpredictable! Rest in peace."
