Television and film actor Sidharth Shukla passes away at 40. He succumbed to a heart attack on 2 September, 2021, confirmed an official at the Cooper Hospital. He rose to fame for his role in TV show Balika Vadhu. He was also the winner of Bigg Boss 13.
As per sources, he suffered a massive heart attack in the morning. Hospital sources said he took some medicine before sleeping and didn’t wake up. He is survived by his mother and two sisters.
“He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago,” the senior Cooper Hospital official told PTI. According to Mumbai Police, no injuries were sustained on his body. “The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained. A team of police is present at his residence for investigation.”, they said in a statement.
He last appeared in web series Broken But Beautiful 3 opposite Sonia Rathee streaming on ALTBalaji & MX Player.
Sidharth Shukla’s career
Sidharth Shukla debuted on television with a lead role in the show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was his Bollywood debut in 2014. He played a supporting role in the film. He was also the winner of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. Besides this, he had experience of hosting television shows also. He hosted Savdhaan India and India’s Got Talent. He was also a participant in reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6.
Recently, he made guest appearances on various reality shows including Bigg Boss OTT and Dance Deewane 3 with Shehnaaz Gill, his close friend.

He was born on 12 December 1980 in Mumbai. He completed his schooling from St. Xavier’s High School, Fort and later pursued Interior designing from Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design.
