Prime Video November: The holiday season is upon us. We are done with Dushera and marching rapidly towards Diwali- the one occasion when a lot of us finally find time to unwind, be with family eat delicacies and of course, catch up on some good films and shows. Yes, Diwali holidays must be spent bonding with loved ones, but let us be real, there are times during holidays when all you want to do is binge-watch a good show, or maybe watch a nice film with your family before going to bed.

Keeping that in mind, all OTT platforms are coming up with an impressive lineup of shows and films to cater to their viewers' needs and Prime Video is no different.

From a film by one of the biggest superstars down south in India to a series backed by Mandira Bedi and an impressive lineup of Korean dramas, here's what you can watch on the OTT platform in November:

Jai Bhim

The biggest release on the platform in November is going to Suriya's Jai Bhim, which is backed by the actor himself and his wife Jyotika. Jai Bhim is a social drama based on real incidences from Justice Chandru’s life, who was approached by a tribal woman when he was an advocate, seeking justice for her husband. The woman's husband was wrongfully convicted and later went missing from police custody. Jai Bhim has been directed by TJ Gnanavel. It will start streaming on November 2.

Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar

This upcoming web series revolves around seven scammers who come up with the country's first fake bank and the mayhem that ensues due to their con. The series has been directed and produced by late Raj Kaushal, who passed away in June this year from a massive heart attack. Kaushal's wife Mandira Bedi eventually stepped in to back the series. Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar features actors Vicky Arora, Anuj Rampal, Shishir Sharma, Swati Semwal, Sreya Muthukumar, Alisha Chopra and Santosh Singh. It will start streaming on November 3.

The Wheel Of Time 

Adapted from the fantasy series by the same name, penned by Robert Jordan, The Wheel Of Time, is a series that uses time's cyclical nature to further its plot. The first season of the series is called Morain's Quest and has been developed by Rafe Judkins. It boasts of an impressive star cast, led by Rosamund Pike along with Josha Stradowski, Marcus Rutherford, Madeleine Madden, Daniel Henney and Michael McElhatton. The series will start streaming on November 19.

Mr Queen

This web series featuring Shin Hae-sun and Kim Jung-hyun, will make the audience experience a soul swap and a time travel within the same breath. This historical drama has been adapted from the Chinese series Go Princess Go. It features actors Shin Hye-sun Choi Jin-hyuk and Kim Jung-hyun in key roles. The series will premiere on November 4.

Secret Garden

A fantasy romantic comedy that will explore the love that transcends all differences, Secret Garden has been directed by Shin Woo-chul. The series features Hyun Bin, Yoon Sang-hyun and Kim Sa-rang in lead. This romantic series revolves around a couple who overcome class and cultural differences for the sake of love. The series will premier on November 4.

This crime thriller will see a seasoned ex-detective and a talented newbie solve cases with limited clues at their disposal. the series, written by Ma jin-won, revolves around the lives of emergency call centre and dispatch centre workers. The series is led by actors Jang Hyuk, Lee Ha-na, Lee Jin-wook, Song Seung-heon. It will start streaming on November 11.

Doctors

Yoo Hye-Jung, a reckless student begins to change after meeting her teacher, Hong Ji-hong, who plays a key role in transforming her life. 13 years later when they bump into each other in a hospital, they must face and navigate the challenges of being doctors. The show stars Kim Rae-Won, Park Shin-Hye, Yoon Kyun-Sang and Lee Sung-Kyung in the lead. It will also premier in November.

Chhorii 

The caption accompanying Chhorii‘s teaser reveals that it is set deep in the heartlands of India. “Chhorii is the story of a modern, young couple, Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuccha) and Hemant. Sakshi is eight months pregnant with her first child when the couple, forced out of their home, escapes from the city and seeks refuge in a house located deep inside sugarcane fields.”

Apart from Nushrratt Bharuccha, the film also features Mita Vasisht, Saurabh Goyal, Rajesh Jais, Pallavi Ajay and Yaaneea Bharadwaj in key roles. The film will release on November 26 on Amazon Prime Video.
