Potluck release date: A light-hearted family show Potluck, which aims to showcase the importance of family bonding and togetherness, is set for its premiere next month. Potluck boast of an impressive starcast, consisting of actors Jatin Sial, Kitu Gidwani, Shikha Talsania, Cyrus Sahukar in lead. Actors Ira Dubey, Harman Singha, Saloni Khanna and Siddhant Karnick also play significant roles in the family drama.

Sial, who plays the head of the family Govind Shastri, holds a get-together for his children after a serious health scare. The retired father wishes to connect with his three grown-up children.  His two married sons and single daughter agree to his demands after he lands up in the hospital, but is their father hiding something from them? And what happens when a family with different opinions, personalities and priorities comes together under one roof? The details will be unveiled when the show premieres on September 10 on OTT.

Directed by Rajshree Ojha, Potluck is produced by Kunal Das Gupta, Pavneet Gakhal and Gaurav Lulla. Ashwin Lakshmi Narayan, Bharat Misra and Gaurav Lulla have written the show. It features Kitu Gidwani as Shastri's wife Pramila, who thinks he has gone crazy trying to bring the family together.

Talking about the upcoming comedy show, Sial revealed he was thrilled to be a part of the ensemble cast members and that shooting Potluck was a heart-warming experience for him. Every family get-together is special in its own way, Sial said, adding, that it brings together endless memories and experiences that stay with you for a lifetime. The show focuses on the concept of the "togetherness" factor of the families and brings alive the quirks of the Shastri family, he opined. Gidwani recalled when she heard the concept she thought it was going to be hilarious shooting for the show. "I absolutely love comedy and so far I have never got the chance to show off my comedic skills, so I was very interested for this one," she shared.
