Jee Le Zaraa cast: Farhan Akhtar is all set to return to direction after a long hiatus with Jee Le Zaraa. Known for making films like Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya and the Don series, Akhtar will soon begin the filming of his first ever women centric film starring some of Bollywood's leading female actors. Akhtar had penned the film himself, alongside filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti.

Jee Le Zaraa cast: Meet the women to feature in the film
On Tuesday, August 10, Akhtar took to his Twitter handle to make the announcement about his upcoming movie Jee le Zaraa as a director. The announcement was made to mark the 20-year-anniversary of Akhtar's directorial debut film Dil Chahta Hai. The actor-director also mentioned that the filming of the movie will begin in 2022. The film will see Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in the lead.
Chopra Jonas, Kaif and Bhatt also shared the announcement from their respective Instagram handles sharing the film's motion poster. "Did someone say road trip? #JeeLeZaraa," read the caption of their respective posts.
About time girls took the car out
Farhan and Zoya Akhtar promoted their upcoming film in an interesting way. Through a video, they shared that in 2001, the boys went to Goa, referring to Dil Chahta Hai. Talking about Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, they said that in 2011, they took a road trip to Spain. "About time the girls took the car out," says the motion poster of the film, then introducing viewers to the cast of Jee Le Zaraa.
