'Dil Hain Ki Manta Nahi'

In Bollywood, 'dil' is more than just a word; it's a conduit for emotions. Love, the most potent of all emotions, takes centre stage in countless films. Romantic narratives, filled with heartfelt dialogues and soul-stirring songs, capture the essence of 'dil' in its various forms – from the fluttering of hearts during a first encounter to the piercing ache of separation.

The heartbeat of Bollywood often syncs with the rhythm of love. The movies celebrate the myriad emotions of the heart, from the exhilaration of first love to the enduring bonds of family and friendship.

Bollywood has always been synonymous with love stories. And in every love story be it the timeless classic 'Mughal-E-Azam' or a modern-day romance 'Rocky Aur Rani,' we see Bollywood wears its 'dil' on its sleeves when it comes to matters of the heart. After all the heart wants what it wants, right?

'Dil Toh Bachcha Hain Ji'

'Ae-Dil-Hain-Mushkil'

Emotions are complex and multifaceted, and they often originate from the heart. Dil hain toh mushkil toh hogi hi!

It sets us up for desires and expectations and therefore, disappointments. When one falls in love, we expect to be loved back; beautifully portrayed by several movies. Karan Johar, I believe hits the mark in this matter. Starting from 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hain,' where Anjali breaks her heart or 'Kal Ho Na Ho,' where Aman and Naina both end up being hurt or 'Ae Dil Hain Mushkil,' where Ayaan's love remains unrequited.

Ayaan beautifully sings away his pain with the lyrics,
