Desperate To Reunite With Ex, Woman Seeks Astrologer's Help; Loses 8 Lakhs

Getting back with an ex is mostly a personal choice. But it should not cost you your self-respect. However, a woman ended up losing lakhs of money in her desperation to get back to her ex-boyfriend. Shocking? Read on to learn more about this incident. 

A 25-year-old woman in Bengaluru's Jalahalli was facing emotional turmoil after a recent break-up. To find solace, she connected with an internet-found astrologer Ahmed along with his associates Abdul and Liyakhatulla on December 9. But little did she know that this solace was actually going to fool her for days. 

The web of black magic

The astrologer promised to get her back to her ex-boyfriend. He further said that black magic was cast upon her, her family and friends which led to the disturbances she was facing in life. To counteract this, he proposed to perform certain rituals which required the woman to pay Rs 501. 

The woman blindly made the payment digitally. Next, the astrologer asked for photos of her, her friends and her family members. He also said that he would black magic do on her ex-boyfriend and his parents so that they support her relationship. For this, he demanded Rs. 2.4 Lakhs. In desperation, the woman handed over the money to Ahmed on December 22.  

When the woman sensed the foul play

Within another few days, the astrologer demanded an additional 1.7 lakhs from the woman. But this time, she sensed a foul play and refused to pay him the amount. The astrologer, showing his true colours, threatened her. He said that if she didn't pay the amount, he would show the intimate pictures of her and her ex-boyfriend to her parents. 

The woman gave in to the pressure and kept transferring the money until she lost 4.1 lakhs by January 10. When her parents discovered about her financial loss, they made her take legal action against the astrologer. The woman filed an FIR at Jalahalli police.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that the money was transferred to Ahmed's associate Liyakhatulla's account. The police further revealed that Ahmed claimed that the woman forced him to perform black magic and that he wouldn't return the money. His phone is switched off now. 

The investigation is still going on on the case.
