In an interview with USA Today The Essentials, the 38-year-old actor talked about parenting and her experiences of surviving the first year of parenthood. She said that it is survival but not a struggle per se

Giving TV time to babies

One nonnegotiable parenting toolkit for Cuoco is giving her small one some screen time. The actor said in the interview, "Some people are going to hate on me for that. Don't care." She added,  "My daughter's seen every Disney movie that there is at this point, and she loves it!"

She also said that along with her daughter, she is also enjoying this parenting hack. "It's actually been cool to go back and watch some of these Disney movies," she said. "Some of them are so new that I've never even seen them. So I'm experiencing this whole thing with her."

Cuocu further said, "If she's going crazy, and I plop her on the couch to watch a Disney movie, like thank you, you get 10 minutes. That's great. To me, that's wonderful."

Although she is very excited about the parenting hack, she said that it won't be appropriate for every parent. "There's maybe the next mom who doesn't want them to watch TV, and that's fine too. But that definitely works for us," she said.

What is the parenting advice from Cuoco?

Cuoco says that don't take her parenting advice because every kid is different. "My advice is don't take any advice because every kid is different," she said. "What my kid needs is not what your kid needs, and our household is different than yours, and it's survival. You do what you can do."
