Rajasthan Man Sentenced To Death: In a comparatively fast-tracked case, a man in Rajasthan has been given the death penalty by the POCSO court on Wednesday for raping a minor girl.

The public prosecutor said that the judgment came in just 26 days of filing the complaint and the judgement came on the 27th day. The court ruled it a heinous crime and that the man deserves the death penalty. The details of the case are still awaited.

Earlier this week, a 16-year-old girl in the Bhiwani district of Haryana was found two months pregnant. Later she claimed that she was being raped by seven men for six months. Almost four of the accused men are her neighbours including a grocery shop owner and his son. Two of the accused persons are in their 50s and the other two are in their 30s. Read about it here.
