Priyanka Chopra Super Soul: The actor in her intimate conversation with Oprah Winfrey on the latter's latest talk show made revelations about how, in her early days in Bollywood, a filmmaker told her to strip down to her underwear on a film set. She was scared and couldn't stand up to him back then, she told the legendary host, marking it as a regret she still has in life. The incident led her to quit the film the very next day.

Chopra has previously made similar mentions in her best-selling memoir Unfinished, wherein she recalled a director telling her, "Jo bhi ho, chaddiyan dikhni chahiyen. Nahi toh log picture kyon dekhne aayenge?”

She reiterated in the interview how "scared" she felt about standing up to the director's mistreatment. "I was so scared. I was new in the entertainment business and girls are always told that ‘you don’t want to get a reputation of being hard to work with.’ So I worked within the system.”

When the legendary host asks her about recognising and facing up to such sexism as she experienced, the Quantico actor said, "I have to say that comes from my upbringing. My parents always gave me that. I was told to have an opinion in a room that disagreed with me. I was always encouraged to have a voice..."

"And that's my regret is that I never stood up to him and said, 'What you did was wrong' because I was scared but the only way, I knew how to deal with it was just to step away from it and have grace under fire. And that's what I did," she added.

Chopra, who also recently turned businesswoman with her haircare range Anomaly and a restaurant in New York City named Sona, made noteworthy conversation with Winfrey soon after her explosive sit-down with royals Meghan and Harry.
