Meenakshi Sundareshwar's Official Teaser Is Out: Here's What You Need To Know

Meenakshi Sundareshwar Teaser: Actor Sanya Malhotra starrer Meenakshi Sundareshwar teaser released on YouTube on 12th October. It has clocked 11,000 views so far. The story of the film revolves around a couple living in a long-distance marriage and the trails and tribulations they face.

The romantic comedy marks the directorial debut of Vivek Soni and is set in the backdrop of Tamil Nadu's Madurai. It is produced by Karan Johar.

In the teaser, Sanya Malhotra is seen asking actor Abhimanyu Dassani why she should consider him. He replies that he is an engineer and doesn't give up easily - be it engineering or relationships. the two are also seen discussing movies. In a scene, it is revealed that Malhotra is a movie buff whereas Abhimanyu detests watching movies. "They put me to sleep", he is heard saying.

Last week, actor Sanya Malhotra had taken to Instagram to announce the date of her upcoming movie Meenakshi Sundareshwar. She wrote on Instagram, “Chahe distance long ho ya short, sab cheezein workout ho jaati hai agar pyaar ho toh. So taiyaar ho jaiye Sundareshwar aur meri pyaar bhari ye long distance marriage dekhne ke liye.” Read more about it here. 

Malhotra was last seen in films like Ludo and Pagglait. Her role as a young widow who set herself free at the end by taking up a job received a lot of praise from the audience. The film has a dialogue which touched the chord of the audience. "Jab ladki log ko akal aati hai na, toh sab unhe pagglait hi kehte hain!”. Read more about the movie here.
