Here's what happened

The woman got hitched with him in December 2010, as per sources.

However, issues started popping up when her husband started harassing her. He was not satisfied with the wedding party that the bride's family had organised.

She and her son had been living with her parents since July 2019. However, the husband took his son away for staying with him.

She visited him on August 14 to meet his son who was not keeping well. That's when he raped her and warned her to be silent over the whole thing else he would kill her.

The Mullanpur Dakha police lodged an FIR against the accused.

In July this year, a man in Delhi’s Mangolpuri area allegedly stabbed his wife to death after she stopped his entry into the house, as per reports. The man visited the police station to surrender himself, he reportedly carried the blood-stained knife with him and his clothes were also covered in blood. The husband told the police that he had been unemployed for a long time which would lead to quarrels between the two. The wife was survived by two children aged 17 and 21.
