Husband Stabs Wife To Death, Visits Police Station With Blood-Stained Knife To Surrender

Mangolpuri Murder: A man in Delhi's Mangolpuri area allegedly stabbed his wife to death after she stopped his entry into the house, as per reports. The man visited the police station to surrender himself, he reportedly carried the blood-stained knife with him and his clothes were also covered in blood.

The man identified as Samir reportedly told police that he killed his wife after which the police arrested him. After being reported of the crime, the police reached the location and found that Samir's wife, identified as Shabana, was taken to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital by neighbours where she was pronounced dead.

The neighbours had found Shabnam in a pool of blood with multiple injuries.

The accused husband, Samir told the police that he was having trouble with his wife due to his driving problem. As per reports, the accused had been unemployed and was ousted from his house by his wife.

Shabnam had reportedly had not allowed Samir to enter the house for over a month. After quarrels due to this, the accused man allegedly stabbed his wife to death. The couple has two children aged 17 and 21. The police have reportedly recorded statements of both the kids.

Earlier this week, a 21-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her family members after she married a man going against her family's wishes. The woman's family first registered a complaint accusing the woman's husband of kidnapping her. When the woman was on her way to the police station, she was allegedly attacked by her three brothers and one other. The husband then filed a complaint against the family members at the police station.

In April this year, a woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband in broad daylight in a market in Delhi. The husband was reportedly suspicious that the woman was having an extramarital affair with someone.

As per reports, the woman was allegedly stabbed 25 times by her husband.
