She expressed her excitement to start 2021 with this addition to her family and thanked the team at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital for delivering her son safely.

Tointon had confirmed her six months pregnancy in October last year, two years after she welcomed her first son Frey.

The actress was supposed to star in a stage production of Steel Magnolias. However, COVID-19 restrictions prevented it from going ahead.

Tointon and Jensen had wished to get married last year on a lawn by a beautiful fjord where Jensen’s grandfather had grown up. However, their special day was put on pause at that time due to the pandemic and national lockdown. Tointon considers it much nicer to get married in a celebratory way when they can enjoy the occasion with their families.

The television star is also looking forward to seeing the bond her two sons will develop. Her announcement comes after she had previously told OK! magazine she was hoping to have more children. She wants her son to have a close bond with his siblings the way she has with her sister.

Tointon and Jensen made their first public appearance as a couple in the summer of 2017, at London’s Wimbledon tennis championships.

Before being in a relationship with Jensen, the television star had previously dated her EastEnders co-star Joe Swash and ex Strictly pro Artem Chigvintsev.
