Watch: Iranian Woman Arrives In India To Marry UP-Based YouTuber

In another case of a cross-border romance, a girl from Iran got engaged to a YouTuber from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh on Friday. The girl, Faiza, 24, from Hamedan in Iran, has come to India on a 20-day tourist visa to meet the YouTuber, Diwakar Kumar, and get married to him after completing the legal procedure. According to reports, she met him three years ago via a social media site.

The couple's love story began online. They met on Facebook and after developing a connection, Diwakar even travelled to Iran to meet Faiza in person. Their virtual romance started three years ago when they initially talked about traveling, tourist spots as Kumar made travel blogs on YouTube, their love blossomed into real-life love when Kumar visited Faiza in Iran where they completed the legal procedure for their marriage in Iran. 

Kumar shared that initially, he faced problems convincing his family to this marriage but eventually, they not only understood their love but also accepted Faiza open-heartedly. The YouTuber underlined that his family has no religious restrictions for Faiza to adhere and Faiza is open to follow the customs and traditions of her religion as well. 

Faiza is a 24-year-old student at a university in Iran and the daughter of a walnut farmer in Hamedan. Faiza has travelled to India with a friend on a 20-day tourist visa to marry her beau and plans to visit the Taj Mahal and Ram Mandir at Ayodhya as well. 

A video of their recent engagement ceremony went viral on social media, showcasing the happy couple with the Indian and Iranian flags displayed in the background. The couple can be seen wearing Indian attire and exchanging rings and gifts in the presence of elders blessing the couple on their engagement. 

The couple's story has resonated with many, highlighting the power of love to bridge borders and cultures.
