Disha Ravi toolkit case chargesheet: The climate activist Disha Ravi, who was accused of being a key conspirator in creating a 'google document', was arrested on February 13 this year and released after 10 days by a Delhi court. The probe into her case has hit a pause as neither Zoom nor Google is responding to the queries by the investigators.

According to Delhi Police, the google document or "toolkit" on the farmers' protest was created by Disha Ravi. This was the same document shared by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg.

Neither video communication platform Zoom and Google have responded to the queries of Delhi Police, which means that the police may not be able to file a chargesheet against Ravi as the investigation hits a roadblock.

The police had approached Zoom in February this month,  because of an alleged Zoom call between Ravi, Nikita Jacob and PFJ's Mo Dhaliwal before January 26. It has been nine months and there was no response from their side.

The police are unable to send any notice for the reply because the respective organisations are not India-based.

The questioning of Ravi did not stop with her bail but the police is unable to find relevant links for any 'criminal conspiracy' case till now. Under such circumstances, it is likely that they may opt to file for a closure report on the case.

The climate activist from Bangalore was charged under the Indian Penal Code associated with the "draconian" sedition law and she was accused of promoting enmity and criminal conspiracy.

Ravi's arrest from her Bengaluru home on February 13 had led to protests across the country, as many demanded her immediate release. In the same case, Mumbai-based advocate Nikita Jacob and engineer Shantanu were also named for making and editing the toolkit with her.

What Is A Toolkit?

A toolkit is basically a document created to explain any issue and provide information, that needs to be addressed about it. The document can include details on a protest, information about petitions and mass movements, amongst many things. The one shared by Thunberg explained the farmer's protest in New Delhi.

According to the first-person report (FIR) by the Delhi Police, a case was registered against them because of the alleged content of the document leading to or inciting the January 26 "violence" in New Delhi, allegedly fuelled by the tractor rally of protesting farmers on the Republic Day of India. the unrest was called a "pre-planned conspiracy", whose aim was to attack India's security and "sovereignty".

The allegation didn't stop here. According to the police, Ravi was allegedly involved in drafting the "toolkit" and was connected with the "pro-Khalistani group Poetic Justice Foundation".
