Delhi University Exams Postponed For Final Year 2021

Delhi University Exams 2021: The University of Delhi postpone its final year examinations again in view of the Covid-19 situation. The exams are to begin on June 7 which were earlier scheduled for June 1.

Delhi University released a notification on May 20 announcing the postponement of final year examinations. The exams were scheduled to begin on June 1 after being postponed to two weeks earlier due to the COVID-19 situation. The University said in its notification dated May 3, "Exams deferred... Fresh date sheet of exams to be issued..."

The Delhi University stated that examinations will begin on June 7 for the final year students. The notification is available on the Twitter handle as well as the official website of DU.

The students are advised to keep a check on the revised date sheet on the official website. “Final year semester Exams @UnivofDelhi to be commenced from 7th June 2021. Read notification here below...”, the University posted on Twitter.

Earlier, the University also suspended classes for two weeks till May 16, 2021, in the wake of the coronavirus situation. The classes commenced again on May 17, 2021. The campus still remains closed till May 24 as per the Delhi Lockdown guidelines.

Earlier in April, IGNOU also extended its dates for submission of assignments for TEE (Term-End Examinations) to be held in June 2021 up to May 31. Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) also postponed the undergraduate MBBS examinations till June 10. The MBBS examinations were scheduled for June 2. The decision is counted as the third postponement of the exams.

Bihar Public Services Commission (BPSC) postponed its 66th competitive examinations which were to be held on June 4, 5 and 8 due to Covid-19. New dates will be announced soon on the website and children are advised to keep a check regularly.

Meanwhile, Gauhati University will be conducting online examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The exams are scheduled from June 1 till June 15 for postgraduates and the second week of June is scheduled for undergraduates.
