A day after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) served a notice to Kangana Ranaut for illegal construction at her office in Bandra West, the civic body officials on Wednesday reportedly started demolishing parts of her office citing “structural violations”. Kangana is on her way to Mumbai now amid an escalating fight with the Shiv Sena leaders. Earlier, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) approved for Y-plus category security for the actor. As per the latest news, the Bombay High Court has now stayed the BMC’s demolition.

A civic team reportedly reached her office, Manikarnika Films Private Limited office, in Bandra’s Pali Hill. Talking about the illegal structure of the building, Vinayak Vispute, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, BMC, said, “We will carry out the demolition work on Wednesday over the structural violations carried out at Ranaut’s office at Pali Hill. Further action will be taken after the demolition process,” Hindustan Times reported.

Reacting to the incident, Kangana took to Twitter and wrote:

Further talking about how she is a “daughter of Maharashtra”, she shared a picture of police officials gathered outside her office. “As I am all set for Mumbai Darshan on my way to the airport, Maha government and their goons are at my property all set to illegally break it down, go on! I promised to give blood for Maharashtra pride this is nothing take everything but my spirit will only rise higher and higher,” she wrote.

Kangana moved to Bombay High Court

Kangana has now moved to Bombay High Court with a plea against the BMC’s demolition drive at her property, TOI reported. She approached the court to challenge the notice issued by the Mumbai civic body for “illegal construction”.

The Bombay High Court has now stayed the BMC’s demolition at Kangana Ranaut’s property, asks the civic body to file reply on the actor’s petition, reports news agency ANI.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) served a “stop work” notice to Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday. Ranaut was to produce permission documents for the ongoing renovation at her office within the next 24 hours.
