Bhiwani Gangrape Case: A shocking incident of a girl being gangraped by seven men has come to light. The horrific incident took place in Haryana's Bhiwani district.

What makes the incident more horrifying is the fact that the girl was allegedly being raped by men who were more or less known to her. Besides that, they allegedly repeatedly threatened to kill her if she ever revealed anything about their crime to her family.

Here's what we know about the Bhiwani gangrape case so far:

1. A 16-year-old girl was allegedly being gangraped by seven men for the last six months in the Bhiwani district of Haryana.
2. The ghastly encounter came to light after the girl fell sick and had to admitted to a hospital. A medical examination revealed that the the girl was two-months pregnant.
3. The girl was allegedly forced to maintain a discreet silence about the horrors being inflicted upon her. The rapists had allegedly threatened to burn her if she told anyone about their crime.
4. The girl's father then filed a case against the criminals with the Bhiwani police. A case has been booked under sections 376DA (Punishment for gang rape on a woman under sixteen years of age), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act against the accused.
5. According to the complaint, the accused persons were known to the girl which included grocery shop owner Satyanarayan, his son Ravinder.
6. Two of the accused are in their fifties, while the rest are aged between 30 to 35 years.
7. "The victim used to buy groceries from the Satyanarayan's shop. The incident took place in the shop. A case has been registered and the accused will be arrested soon," SHO Bawani Kheda, Ravindra Kumar said.
8. None of the accused have been arrested so far.
