Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s sister, Komal Rampal, reportedly failed to appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau in Mumbai on Wednesday (January 6). The 1994 Miss India finalist was summoned by the investigating agency in connection with the alleged discrepancies in a prescription for a tablet submitted by her brother Arjun Rampal. The said tablets were recovered from his house last month. However, her lawyer has informed NCB that she is unable to appear before the agency.

Arjun Rampal, along with his girlfriend and live-in partner Gabriella Demetriades, was also questioned by the agency in November and December last year.
The Rampals were issued summons after the NCB recovered medicines from his house, following which the actor had
claimed that those belonged to his dog and sister.
45-year-old Komal Rampal is an ex-air hostess and a businesswoman.
On New Year, Arjun had penned down a long Instagram post claiming that he has never been on the “wrong side of the law”. He wrote, "I would like to assure each and every one of you that I am well aware of my responsibility as a celebrity, a father and a citizen of a country I love dearly that I have never been on the wrong side of the law. You all have nothing to fear or speculate as I have done nothing wrong. I love you all and going forward we shall only spread love and peace together. There is no room for any negativity in our space."
Meanwhile, NCB had on Tuesday recorded the statement of
Shruti Modi, former business manager of actor
Sushant Singh Rajput. She was summoned in connection with the filing of a charge sheet in Rajput’s death case.
