Three Of Us

Three of Us, directed by the renowned Avinash Arun, narrates the touching story of Shailaja Desai (played by Shefali Shah), a former Mumbai high court clerk who confronts the challenges of a degenerative brain disease gradually erasing her past. The movie delves into her brave journey to revisit her childhood memories, guided by her childhood friend and sweetheart, Pradip Kamat (portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat).

The film's team unveiled the trailer for Three of Us, an emotionally charged drama centred on relationships, against the captivating backdrop of Maharashtra's Konkan region. The film is set to release on November 3rd in Cinemas.

Annapoorani

Nayanthara, who recently made her Bollywood debut with Jawan, is keeping busy in both the film industry and her entrepreneurial endeavours. On October 24, the teaser for her 75th film, Annapoorani, was revealed by the makers.

The teaser features Nayanthara's character, brought up in a traditional Brahmin family, concealing a meat recipe book, adding intrigue to the storyline. Directed by Nilesh Krishna, the film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Jai, Sathyaraj, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsly, Kumari Sachu, Karthik Kumar, and Suresh Chakravarthy.

In MRS, Sanya Malhotra portrays a woman who enters a patriarchal family that places expectations on her to manage household chores, including cooking and cleaning, while putting her own aspirations on hold. Directed by Arati Kadav, the film is a remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam movie The Great Indian Kitchen, and Sanya's character is a young dancer who marries into a family that still adheres to traditional patriarchal values, where she's obliged to prepare fresh meals three times a day and prioritise her family's needs over her own dreams. 

Malhotra's upcoming film, MRS, has been chosen for the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, also known as PÖFF (Pimedate Ööde Filmifestival). 

Apurva

The first trailer for the upcoming survival thriller, Apurva, has been unveiled. Helmed by director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film features an exceptional ensemble cast, with Tara Sutaria in the lead role. 

Apurva narrates the tale of an average girl confronted with extraordinary challenges and her determination to endure and thrive. The storyline unfolds in Chambal, and the film is scheduled to start streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on November 15.

The Girlfriend

A sneak peek of The Girlfriend, featuring Rashmika Mandanna, was revealed today. The teaser commences with a voiceover expressing intense love, stating, "I love her so much that she doesn't need friends, family, or anyone else. I am all she needs. I want her to be with me all the time. To have a girl I can call mine is a different high." 

The teaser also offers a glimpse of Mandanna’s character, who is seen submerged underwater, appearing quite tense, and eventually struggling for breath. This film is directed by Rahul Ravindran and is the 51st project produced by Allu Arvind's Geetha Arts.

Singham Again

Recently, Deepika Padukone introduced her character, Shakti Shetty, in the forthcoming film Singham Again. In a promotional image, Padukone is depicted in a police uniform, holding a firearm. She will be playing a substantial role in the film, directed by Rohit Shetty. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has shared some behind-the-scenes pictures. As of now, the teaser trailer for the film is yet to be released.

The Buckingham Murders

Kareena Kapoor's highly anticipated upcoming film is The Buckingham Murders, which centres around the character Jasmeet Bhamra (portrayed by Kapoor). She plays a single mother and police officer who is grappling with the tragic loss of her child in a shooting incident. Her life takes a new direction when she is transferred to High Wycombe and tasked with investigating a missing child case. Directed by Hansal Mehta, the movie adeptly explores themes of trauma, closure, and the immigrant experience, all within the framework of an atmospheric thriller. Kapoor has shared multiple posts detailing her character and the journey of filming the movie.

Sam Bahadur

The teaser for Vicky Kaushal's upcoming biographical war drama, Sam Bahadur, was unveiled over the past weekend, and it's nothing short of captivating. The film is centred on the life of Sam Manekshaw, India's first army officer to attain the rank of Field Marshal, mainly due to his pivotal role in the 1971 Indo-Pak war. The movie also features Fatima Sana Sheikh in an entirely new role; she portrays Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film. It is scheduled to hit screens on December 1, 2023.
