The Mumbai celebration on April 16 turned into a mini Bollywood reunion with celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Sushmita Sen, Karan Johar, and Shilpa Shetty lighting up the stage.
The energy peaked when Shahid Kapoor hit the dance floor, performing a high-energy solo to Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and later joined Seema's son Shrey Singh for a fun performance of Mauja Hi Mauja from Jab We Met. Videos of his moves quickly went viral, with fans going crazy about his effortless charm.
Filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Sushmita Sen teamed up to host the evening, both turning heads with their impeccable style. Sushmita stunned in a black saree, while Karan stole the spotlight in a vibrant red sherwani.
Arjun Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Shilpa Shetty were also spotted at the glamorous bash.
Who is Seema Singh?
Seema Singh is the daughter-in-law of the family behind the pharmaceutical company, Alkem Laboratories Limited. Her father-in-law is the chairman of Alkem Pharma, and her husband, Mrityunjay Singh, is the director at Alkem and Managing Director of Indchemie Health Specialities.
Seema is a social activist and the force behind Meghashrey NGO, an organisation committed to providing quality education to underprivileged children in India. In 2023, Seema was honoured by former President Ram Nath Kovind for her contributions to the campaign for a Cervical Cancer-Free India.
This is not the first time Seema has had a star-studded gathering. Last Diwali, her party was graced by names like Sushmita Sen, Maheep Kapoor, and Bhavana Pandey, proof that she shares a close bond with Bollywood’s finest.
