On Wednesday, Shilpa Shetty delighted her fans by unveiling the movie's first look poster for her character Satyavati. The actor perfectly summed up the retro vibe on social media while wearing a white saree with red polka dots.

Shilpa Shetty shared the poster with her followers and wished them a happy Ugadi and Gudi Padwa. She further wrote, "On this auspicious day of NEW beginnings, I'm thrilled to share with you a NEW character entering the war in #KD's battlefield as Satyavati." In the poster, her outfit was completed with a handbag, a pair of large sunglasses, a bindi, a choker, a long necklace, and other jewellery. In the image, Satyavati is pictured leaning against a vintage car with a few imperial-style buildings in the background. A long braid also draws attention to her attractive features.

Sanjay Dutt also plays a significant role in the period drama KD: The Devil, which is now under production. Earlier this week, the creators of KD: The Devil teased fans about a new cast member. Then today, the actor was also welcomed by director Prem in a special post. He referred to her as a "powerhouse."

Although she is a Karnataka native, actor Shilpa Shetty has only appeared in a small number of South productions. She actually made her Kannada debut after being well-known in Bollywood and making an appearance in Mr Romeo with Prabhudheva (1996). The last Kannada movie in which Shilpa Shetty appeared was Auto Shankar, which came out in 2005. Shilpa is making her return to Kannada cinema now, 18 years after her last appearance, in KD, aka KingDom.

According to reports, KD: The Devil takes place in the late 1960s and early 1970s. In the movie, Dhruva Sarja portrays a gangster alongside Ravichandran. Shilpa and Ravichandran have previously worked together.
