For those unfamiliar, Shraddha Kapoor showcased her prowess in various accents in a recent video shared by Netflix India. Demonstrating finesse, she effortlessly transitioned between American, French, and British accents. Notably, Kapoor also mentioned her ability to speak Russian, although she acknowledged that her accent might differ from the authentic pronunciation.

Commenting on that, in a conversation with SheThePeople, Balan said, "I recently watched a video of Shraddha Kapoor doing different accents, and she's incredibly talented." She also revealed that she struggles with accents, saying, "Actually, I struggle with accents." Balan then also revealed what her talent or skill is that is still hidden from the world. According to Balan, she believes that her genuine passion revolves around acting.

The actor said, "I don't secretly sing in the shower or anything like that. Some people are great singers or dancers, but for me, my focus is on acting. I hope to excel in that area. So, you could say that's where my passion lies."

However, Balan has consistently showcased her versatility as an actor by embracing a range of Indian accents in various films. Her journey began with Parineeta and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, where she adeptly adopted a Bengali accent. This pattern continued with Bobby Jasoos, which she skillfully embodied a Hyderabadi accent. In Ghanchakkar, she seamlessly transitioned into a Punjabi accent, and for Shakuntala Devi, she effortlessly adopted a South Indian accent.

In one of the interviews, Balan shared her linguistic evolution, tracing back her familiarity with North Indian neighbours during her upbringing, which contributed to her linguistic adaptability. However, her ability to revert to a South Indian accent for a specific role, as seen in Shakuntala Devi, presented a captivating process of unlearning and relearning, adding depth to her portrayal.
