Television actor Aman Jaiswal, renowned for his lead role in the Indian TV serial Dhartiputra Nandini, tragically passed away on Friday, January 17 following a road accident in Mumbai. The incident occurred in the Jogeshwari West area around 3:15 pm, when a truck collided with Jaiswal's motorbike on Hill Park Road.

According to the police, the truck driver hit Jaiswal while he was riding his motorcycle. He was immediately rushed to the trauma ward of Cama Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The truck and its driver are currently in police custody, and a case has been registered at the Amboli police station, as confirmed by Mumbai Police.
Jaiswal was on his way to an audition when the accident occurred, writer Dhiraj Mishra shared in an interview with India Today. This tragic incident cut short the life of a promising young actor who had already made a significant impact in the television industry.
Who Was Aman Jaiswal?
Originally from Balia, Uttar Pradesh, Aman Jaiswal gained fame for his portrayal of the lead character in Dhartiputra Nandini. Before his breakthrough role, Jaiswal began his career as a model and later appeared in the popular show Udaariyaan, produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta.
His talent and versatility also shone through in his role as Yashwant Rao Phanse in the Sony TV show Punyashlok Ahilyabai, which aired from January 2021 to October 2023.
Jaiswal's final Instagram post was about his journey in Dhartiputra Nandini. He shared that pursuing acting was a challenging decision, met with opposition from his family. Despite the hurdles, Jaiswal carved out a successful career and amassed a social media following of over 65,000, where he described himself as someone who "lived through his characters."
Dhiraj Mishra paid his respects to Jaiswal on Instagram, posting, “Tum jeevit rahoge hamari yaadon mein... Ishwar kabhi kabhi kitna kroor ho sakta hai aaj tumhari mrityu ne ehsaas kara diya... Alvida (You will remain alive in our memories... How cruel God can be, today your death has made me realize this... Farewell).”
