Road accidents are one of the major cause of deaths around the world. Over-speeding, not following traffic rules, rash driving etc. are counted as one of the nastiest ways a person meets his demise. Even after knowing about the risks of faulty driving, there are still people who are not ready to understand how things can turn unfavourable in seconds. However, there have also been times when people have escaped death even in the most dangerous and deadly road accidents. A recent example is a road accident that took place on a highway in Kerala. Woman Spins With Overturning Car

  1. A video of a road accident is going viral on the internet which is reportedly from the Kerala's Kozhikode district's Karumala region.
  2. A car lost control on the Koyilandy-Edavanna state highway due to speeding and crashed into a wall on the side of the road and went toppling over.
  3. As the car flipped in the video, a woman can be seen holding onto the door of the car and hanging out of it who goes spinning along with the flipping car.
  4. The car comes to a stop in the middle of the road and soon some people who were going their bikes stopped to help rescue the people out of the car.
  5. The video was extracted from a CCTV camera nearby which showed that the accident happened at around 6:15 pm on February 21.
  6. There were three passengers in the car reportedly which also included an infant who were all rescued alive. The woman, allegedly from Punoor, got a head injury and was rushed to a nearby private hospital. The police is yet to confirm the number and status of passengers.
  7. The highway was partially blocked after the accident took place and police is investigating the matter.
  8. The Koyilandy-Edavanna highway is known for being an accident prone area. Last year, two bikers died in a road accident on the highway in December as they crashed into a two-wheeler approaching from the opposite side. They were reportedly not wearing helmets and could not survive the injuries.
