Season three of this feel-good and optimistic show is going to start production from February this year. The show on AppleTv+ got a massive fanbase because of the ardent optimism of its central character, who is otherwise inexperienced. The show is about Ted Lasso, who is an American coach who heads to London to train AFC Richmond, the struggling English Premier League Soccer team. The show is created by Brenden Hunt, Joe Kelly and Bill Lawrence. It stars, Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein and Hannah Waddingham, amongst others.

Schitt's Creek

This heartwarming sitcom tells us the story of a rich family of four who lose all their money and are forced to shift to a small town called Schitt's Creek, which was brought by the father as a joke to his son. The show delves into their lives and through that expands on the lives of the people around them. Each character has its own negatives but is trying to cope with life in the most humorous way. Schitt's Creek is much loved for its portrayal of the LGBT community breaking many barriers in the entertainment world. Created by Dan Levy and his father Eugene Levy, who also are part of its central cast, the show is not just fun and feel good but is also an example of intelligent writing.

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel

The Marvelous Mrs Maisel speaks about the societal issues The Amazon Original, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel challenges society's stereotypes.

In a male-dominated comedy sphere, a Jewish woman makes her space like none other. The lead, Mrs Maisel played by Rachel Brosnahan, has been left by her husband and stranded with three kids in her parents' house. Set in the 1950s, Mrs Maisel, whose name is Midge, lives on the Upper West Side of New York City in the United States. She is a talented comedian who only realises her talent after her husband leaves her for his secretary. She meets her manager Susie Myerson, played by Alex Borstein at a bar called "Gaslight" and from there on begins her journey to make a career out of comedy. The show is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino.

The Good Place 

Afterlife is a much-discussed topic anywhere, whether it be due to our own curiosity or religious understanding. Many shows have taken a shot at what life looks after one passes away is like. But this show is special because of the philosophical discussion of what is good and what is bad. The series smartly approaches a subject that often gives people chill in a funny manner yet discusses the human idea of what god must deem as a good or a bad deed, a deciding factor of whether you will be in hell or heaven. The show is created by Michael Schur and casts Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, William Jackson Harper, D'Arcy Carden, Manny Jacinto and Jameela Jamil, amongst others.

After Life

The meaning of the word after life here is what happens in the main character Tony, played by Ricky Gervais' life after his wife Lisa, played by Kerry Godliman passes away due to cancer. Initially, he tries to kill himself in order to find solace in death but his dog pulls him back. The dog senses whenever he feels suicidal and gives company to his otherwise empty life. He is a journalist in a small town, where everybody knows everybody. It is a feel-good and subtle comedy as Tony tries to navigate his life without his wife and meets good people along the way. It can be watched on Netflix. It is written by Gervais and includes Diane Morgan, David Earl, Mandeep Dhillon, amongst others.

Set in the fictional town of Pawnee, this series focuses on the Parks and Recreation department of the town. It began airing in 2009 and includes an impressive ensemble cast of Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt, Adam Scott and Aziz Ansari, amongst others. Parks And Recreations ran for seven seasons and is one of the office comedies that stands out in terms of its quirkiness and plotlines. It is created by Greg Daniel and Michael Schur and pans out in a mockumentary-style format.

Derry Girls 

The show is based in Derry, which is in North Ireland. It is about a young girl and her cousins growing up in a conflicted land that is sprawling with armed forces and hate crimes. The show takes the violence between protestants and Catholics, a serious political topic and spins it with the humour of a teenage girl and her growing up stories. The show is a feel-good one as it shows friendship in time of conflict and hope for a better future. It takes children from two distinct and conflicting communities and lets them bond, showing them the future in unity. Derry Girls finds humour in atypical situations like the girl and her friends going to a concert with a bag of vodka, which is intercepted by police after Sister Michael raises alarm and it is blasted using bomb detectors.

Workin' Moms 

The show takes inspiration from the personal experiences of co-creator Catherine Reitman. It is based on the struggle of urban working mothers who try to understand the first-time motherhood experiences while making sure to succeed professionally and otherwise. It portrays the complexities and mental health problems of mothers and motherhood, which is otherwise called a fulfilling experience of a woman's life. The show casts Reitman, Juno Rinaldi, Philip Sternberg, Dani Kind, Jessalyn Wanlim, amongst others.
