Rashmi Rocket Release Date Revealed: Just days after the premiere of her multilingual fantasy film Annabelle Sethupathi, Taapsee Pannu announced the release date of her upcoming sports film Rashmi Rocket. Pannu took to social media on September 20, to share that the film will have a Dushera release on OTT.

Directed by Akarsh Khurana, the film that captures the journey of a Gujarati village girl who makes it big as a runner also features actor Priyanshu Painyuli in a key role. Rashmi Rocket has been penned by Nanda Periyasamy while Aniruddha Guha has been credited for its screenplay.
"ये चुनौतियों भरी race शुरू हो चुकी है और अब रावण दहन पे ही आके रुकेगी । बहुत कुछ नष्ट करना है रश्मि को इस साल । Get ready to run with Rashmi in this race on and off the track. She will need you in this one #RashmiRocket ready to take off on 15th October 2021..." Pannu wrote in her Instagram post.
The actor's transformation had made headlines last year when she had shared a video elaborating her prep for the role. Instead of taking steroids to beef up her muscles, Pannu said she acquired her athletic body by training. Her meals during the prep were all made at home using natural ingredients.
"My trainer was worried about how we will make her look like a sprinter with strong muscles built over years. But all of us were here for a challenge," Pannu revealed, further adding that it took her around a month to be able to lift heavyweights. Pannu had also wrapped up the shooting of her first film as a producer recently. Titled Blurr, the film featuring Gulshan Devaiah and Pannu in lead is a suspense thriller. Apart from these two films, Pannu also has Shabaash Mithu and Looop Lapeta in the pipeline.
