Raj Kundra To Remain In Police Custody Till July 23: Report
According to sorces, Shilpa Shetty did not turn up for the shoot of the dance reality show today hours after her husband's arrest by the Mumbai police.
Raj Kundra custody: Raj Kundra, who has been arrested in connection with alleged creation of pornographic films and its publication through apps, was produced in Mumbai's Esplanade Court for proceedings on July 20.Kundra, who is married to actor Shilpa Shetty, was presented in front of the court alongside his alleged aide Ryan Tharp. The court remanded Kundra to police custody till Friday, July 23.

It is also being reported that Kundra's wife Shilpa Shetty did not turn up for the shoot of a dance reality show today, hours after her husband's arrest by the Mumbai police. Kundra is alleged to be a "key conspirator" in the case and had spent the night in custody. More here.
Mumbai police have further claimed that they have certain WhatsApp chats that appear to be a "key piece of evidence" regarding his involvement in the case. The case against Kundra, who was earlier linked to IPL match-fixing controversy, was registered on February 4 at the Malwani police station in suburban Mumbai after a woman approached the police and file a complaint. Further investigation was underway in the matter, as per police officials. Kundra, who lives in Mumbai with his wife and two children, is facing charges like cheating and "obscene and indecent advertisements and displays".
Meanwhile actor Gehna Vashisth, who claimed that she was on bail in connection with same cases, released an official statement following Kundra's arrest. The actor said that "police should investigate fully as there are many more skeletons in the cupboards of the rich and famous.” Expressing full faith in Mumbai police, Gehna said that they should not mix up porn with "erotica or bold content".
