Movie enthusiasts are awaiting the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, featuring Allu Arjun in the lead role. The film's producers took to social media on Monday to unveil the highly anticipated sequel's release date, which is set for August 15, 2024.
Mythri Moviemakers, the production company behind Pushpa 2: The Rule, made this announcement on Twitter, urging everyone to mark their calendars. The tweet emphasised the return of Pushpa Raj to dominate the box office, although Allu Arjun's face was not visible on the new poster; only his hand was adorned with rings and bracelets, with noticeable bloodstains.

Allu Arjun's initial look for the upcoming film was revealed earlier this year on his 41st birthday. Moreover, Rashmika Mandanna recently shared that she has commenced shooting for the highly-awaited sequel in the Pushpa series, where she reprises her role alongside Allu Arjun. On September 8, she thrilled her fans by posting a behind-the-scenes image from the movie set on her Instagram account.
Additionally, Bollywood Life has reported that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is being replaced by a rising Telugu star for the dance sequence in Pushpa 2. The reports suggest that the makers are contemplating actor Sreeleela for the dance number in Pushpa 2, although there has been no official confirmation. If this speculation pans out, it could be a significant opportunity for her in the industry.

Pushpa, originally filmed in Telugu, underwent dubbing and subsequently hit the screens in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada in 2021. It became a massive blockbuster in India, propelling Allu Arjun to pan-India stardom. Last month, he received the National Film Award for Best Actor, further cementing his acclaim.
